Morgan played a female character on the AIDS prevention and educational video Safe Sex for Men and Women. The profits from this film were donated in part towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is a member of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the main force behind many fund-raising campaigns for the spread of the disease. She also spoke before a Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. Morgan is on the Board of Governors of APLA as well as Amfar's Board of Directors. C. Everett Koop asked her at times to take his spot in AIDS activities. And she co-hosted the AIDS Awareness Special with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice for Nightline on AIDS. Morgan is nominated as one of the Emmy recipient for her role in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written especially for Morgan. In the spring she co-starred alongside Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. Her summer started by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was directed by Von Zerneck/Sertner. The show was also co-starring Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. Her next project took Morgan to Luxembourg in which she appeared in the roles of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also on the set. Morgan also played in an action-packed psychological thriller produced exclusively by USA Network. This thriller was a huge success and earned the top ever ratings for the network.
